Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with the Charleston weather forecast for Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, and we look to start May with a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two moving through Wednesday morning as the disturbance slides across the area.

Temperatures start in the mid-60s, warming into the mid-80s in the afternoon as the sky is gradually clear and ridging builds back in aloft.

A sea breeze storm or two can’t be ruled out in the afternoon, but the trend across the area looks generally drier as the day goes on.

The weather stays quiet for Thursday and Friday.

Expect lows in the mid-60s each morning with highs in the mid-80s in the afternoons onto partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.

This will yield a slightly more unsettled weather as we head into the weekend, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoons, but there will be plenty of time to get outside too.

No washouts expected.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for May 1st, 2024.
