Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, and the rest of the workweek.

A disturbance will bring a little bit of rain to the area on Wednesday morning, but don’t expect rain gauges to catch much in the way of precipitation as the showers should be on the light side.

Temperatures Wednesday morning start in the mid-40s, but cooler air moving in behind the disturbance along with persistent cloud cover should keep highs capped in the mid-50s on Wednesday afternoon.

High pressure and sunshine return to the area for Thursday.

We start the day in the upper 30s before warming to the mid-60s in the afternoon with just a passing cloud or two at times amongst the brilliantly sunny sky.

Sunshine continues as we head into Friday, a slightly warmer start in the low 40s, yielding the highs in the upper 60s in the afternoon.

It’s the kind of weather we would want for Groundhog Day, in case we get trapped in a temporal loop after all.

Looking ahead at the weekend, we’ll keep the good vibes going into Saturday with comfortable temperatures and plenty of sunshine before Sunday starts to turn a little more unsettled as a storm system approaches the area.

We should start Sunday rain-free, but shower chances will be increasing as we get further into the afternoon and evening, and we’ll start to see winds kick up as well as low pressure approaches.

Highs each day peak in the mid-to-upper 60s after lows in the low-to-mid 40s, generally a little above normal for early February.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for January 31st, 2024.
