Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, and the rest of the work week.

Get ready to get even warmer! After a high of 67 degrees on Tuesday, we’re looking to climb back into the 70s on Wednesday in the wake of a warm front pushing ashore from the Atlantic.

A few showers will be possible during the day, particularly as the warm front moves on by, but they’ll be relatively light and should be out of here by evening.

Thursday should be the warmest day of the young year so far.

We start the day around 60 degrees, which is the normal high for this point in January, and will warm into the mid to upper 70s in the afternoon under a mix of sun and clouds.

Shower chances return later Thursday, but we should get a vast majority of the daylight hours in rain-free.

Better shower chances arrive ahead of a cold front on Friday.

Temperatures will once again start impressively mild, generally in the low 60s, and will warm into the mid 70s in the afternoon.

There will be a risk for showers throughout the day, and we might hear some rumbles of thunder too.

However, the parameters don’t look too concerning for severe weather.

Rainfall could be a little heavier than previous days, but we’re still not expecting anything too disruptive.

The warm and unsettled weather continues into Saturday before another front swings through on Sunday, restoring order to the thermometers around the area as temperatures fall right back to the late January normals by next Monday.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for January 24th, 2024.
