Hello everyone, Jarrett Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Sunday, November 26th, 2023.

Well Sunday will not do the best job living up to its name as cloud cover will become increasingly prevalent throughout the day ahead of another disturbance.

That’ll be a chilly day as high pressure remains wedged in across the area.

We’ll start the day in the mid 40s and temperatures will struggle to warm to 60 degrees in the afternoon with cool northeasterly winds persisting and the aforementioned cloud cover.

Storms may begin to work into the area around mid-afternoon, though the better rain chances will generally arrive after sunset.

Rainfall should be generally light, but a few pockets of heavier rain are certainly not out of the question.

However, the heaviest stuff stays south of us, closer to the surface load that’ll be skirting the Florida and Georgia state line.

Rain should clear the area by Monday morning, followed by cool high pressure which could bring some freezing temperatures to the area for mid-week.

The other weather concern for Sunday will be coastal flooding with a morning high tide.

Water levels are forecast to reach moderate flood stage around the 644 a.m.

high tide, and this should put some salt water on the roads as a result.

When we get to moderate flood stage, we start to see road closures tick up as well, so be ready to reroute around flooded or closed roads if downtown is in your travel plans, generally before 9 a.m.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for November 26th, 2023.
