Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Friday, November 24th, 2023, and the upcoming weekend.

We’ll dodge a few showers on Friday morning as a disturbance moves by, but the rain will generally be light and should be out of here by noon.

The showers may feel a little chilly as we start the day in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees.

The clouds should break up some in the afternoon, allowing us to warm back to the low 60s, but that’s still a few degrees below normal.

High pressure will then wedge back into the area for Saturday, bringing us even chillier weather.

The mid 40s start, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds, but temperatures will struggle to reach 60 degrees in the afternoon.

Sunday starts in the low 40s, but the wedge is expected a week and ahead of another disturbance that will arrive on Monday, and this should allow temperatures to head to the low 60s in the afternoon, once again under a mix of sun and clouds.

The only concern for this weekend’s weather will be coastal flooding, which will be the result of the upcoming full moon and favorable northeasterly winds strengthening offshore.

Saturday morning’s high tide around 6am could top out around 7.2 feet, causing some minor coastal flooding.

Sunday morning’s high tide around 6.46am, though, may be more disruptive as water levels could go in a moderate flood stage.

This could close some roads downtown earlier Sunday morning, so keep an ear out for possible coastal flood advisories from the National Weather Service.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for November 24th, 2023.
