Hello everyone Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather weekend forecast for Saturday November 18th and Sunday November 19th 2023 Skies will largely clear out in time for the weekend, which looks like a real butte Saturday will be the warmer the two days ahead of a cold front We’ll start the day in the upper 50s to around 60 before warming to the upper 70s in the afternoon I wouldn’t be shocked to see a few spots even touch 80 and there will be a few clouds at most so lots of Sun Nice day to get outside The aforementioned cold front will swing through later Saturday now, you’re probably not gonna notice it right away There might be a slight uptick in cloud cover at worst and certainly no rain Dewpoints will start to fall with temperatures to follow overnight Saturday and we’ll wake up Sunday morning to lows in the low 50s High temperatures on Sunday look to top out around 70 degrees much closer to normal for this point in the year And we’ll do that once again under abundant sunshine Looking ahead.

We see showers return to the forecast from Monday through Wednesday as the storm track remains somewhat active across our area Particularly potent cold front looks to move through at some point on Wednesday and this will knock temperatures down fairly significantly just in time for Thanksgiving To well feel like Thanksgiving thinking highs in the upper 50s on Thanksgiving Day right now.

Stay tuned Meanwhile potential tropical cyclone 22 continues to kick up some showers and some gusty winds across Jamaica and Cuba But it increasingly looks like it’s just not going to fulfill its potential as a tropical cyclone Conditions are becoming increasingly unfavorable for it to develop and a lot of dry air wind shear land interaction No good for tropical development, and that’s honestly pretty okay Regardless, it’ll still be staying well away from our neck of the woods and the tropics are quiet Otherwise as we head towards the twilight of hurricane season While I’ve got you we got a pretty cool thing happening on Saturday to help raise money for the American Red Cross The weather podcasts have all come together including Carolina weather group storm front freaks weather brains and chaser chat to put on a 12-hour weather podcast telethon beginning 10 a.m.
