Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Friday, November 3rd, 2023, along with a look at the weekend.

We’ve got one more chilly start in store for Friday morning before a warming trend commences and hangs around into next week.

Temperatures start in the 30s once again Friday morning, and this could cause another round of frost and freeze concern for primarily inland Berkeley and Dorchester counties, where a frost advisory is in effect.

Elsewhere, we should see only patchy light frost at worst.

From there though, temperatures will warm into the upper 60s, several degrees warmer than we’ve been in the past couple days, with plenty of sunshine to be had once again.

The warming trend continues into the weekend.

We’ll start Saturday in the upper 40s, some 10 degrees warmer than Friday, and warm into the low 70s in the afternoon.

Sunday turns a click warmer, with lows around 50 degrees yielding to highs in the mid 70s in the afternoon, with plenty of sunshine to be had throughout.

All in all, it’s another nice weekend to do things outside and be comfortable.

The higher dew points will also allow for fewer static shocks, especially in the mornings as well.

I know I’ve been zapped a couple times in the past couple days, but I’m not really ready for that yet, to be honest.

The warming trend will continue well into next week too, and in fact we may be back in the 80s by mid-week.

I sure hope y’all haven’t put your shorts too far away, because it’s probable you’re going to want them by this time next week.

And as a rain you’re looking for, well those prospects are just not looking good, I’m afraid.

It’s conceivable we may get through yet another week with no measurable rainfall.

Now this isn’t completely out of bounds for November, which is climatologically our driest month of the year.

Still, it’s been a while since we’ve had a good rain, and the low country is now starting to fall into abnormally dry conditions, as of the latest drought monitor.

Looking ahead in guidance, there doesn’t seem to be anything that’s really going to give us much in the way of measurable rain for the foreseeable future.

Stay tuned of course, as this could change, but suffice to say right now, it’s probably pretty safe to wash your car.

I know I need to do that.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for November 3rd, 2023.
