Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for November 2nd, 2023, along with a peek ahead at Friday and the weekend.

Thursday gets off to the chilliest start since March as temperatures fall into the mid-30s across much of the area away from the coast.

And further inland, temperatures could fall below freezing, and this has prompted a freeze warning for inland Berkeley and Dorchester counties.

Winds will help temperatures feel closer to the upper 20s, so be sure you’re employing some layers to start the day, but temperatures will warm to around 60 in the afternoon, and despite mostly sunny skies, temperatures will only warm to about 60 degrees or so in the afternoon, so Thursday certainly continues to qualify as another sweater weather day.

From there though, we start to warm up.

We start Friday in the low 40s, but will warm to near 70 degrees in the afternoon with more sunshine.

Temperatures continue to moderate heading into the weekend, with more sunshine expected.

Saturday starts in the low 50s and heads to the low 70s in the afternoon, while Sunday starts in the mid 50s and warms to the mid 70s.

The warming trend continues into next week too, with above normal temperatures expected to start the week.

There’s not much in the way of rain expected until maybe Tuesday as a front approaches the area, but shower chances continue to look rather low even with that front approaching.

As for the tropics, there’s not much to write home about, and it’s really hard to think about the tropics anyway when it’s 40 degrees outside.

But there is one area in the southern Caribbean that continues to show a low chance for development as it drifts westward toward Central America.

But otherwise, all is quiet as we get into the homestretch of hurricane season.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for November 2nd, 2023.
