Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with the Charleston weather forecast for Saturday, October 21st, 2023 and the upcoming weekend.

And this upcoming weekend will be a beaut in the weather department.

A cold front will have cleared the area by the time we wake up on Saturday, and it’ll be a brilliant day of sunshine and comfortable temperatures.

We start Saturday in the low 50s and warm up into the low to mid 70s under nearly unfettered sunshine.

Westerly winds will generally run about 5-10 mph or so, so just make sure if you’re going to be having lunch outside that you’re pinning down the napkins, but otherwise, it’s going to be a great day to get outside.

Now if you like it a little warmer, then you’re going to like Sunday.

We start the day in the upper 50s and warm into the mid to upper 70s in the afternoon.

There’s going to be a little bit more in the way of cloud cover, but that’s not to say that there won’t be plenty of sunshine either, which is partly cloudy as opposed to mostly sunny.

Overall, it’s just a great looking weekend of weather, and I hope you’re able to take advantage.

In the tropics, Tammy is now the 7th hurricane of the Atlantic season.

It’ll affect the Leeward Islands, including the U.S.

Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico this weekend, before turning north and northeast early next week, recurring safely out to sea.

Meanwhile, the only other area of interest is in the Southern Caribbean, which has a 20% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 7 days, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be much of a factor right now, and it certainly doesn’t look like a concern for us here in the Lowcountry.

Finally, a programming note, with the gorgeous weather expected this weekend, don’t think you’re going to need to hear too much from me, so I’m going to take the weekend off, and I’ll be back on Sunday evening.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for October 21st, 2023.
