Sunday's forecast: Sunny and warm
Hello everybody, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Sunday, August 6th, 2023.
Just a quick little podcast today, because really not too much to talk about weather-wise for Sunday.
Start the day with a few clouds around in the mid-70s, generally speaking, going to be warmer closer to the beaches, and as the day goes on we’ll see those clouds scour out a little bit, and really we’re looking for a very sunny Sunday.
Highs will top out around 91-92, and you mix in the humidity and heat indices will go to about 100-101, not quite in that danger zone, but certainly high enough to where you’re going to want to take some precautions if you are going to be outside during the heat of the afternoon.
Just make sure you’ve got plenty of water, make sure you’re getting some shady breaks in there, and you’re going to be right as rain.
And speaking of rain, really not much to speak of on Sunday, it looks like we’re going to get in the day pretty much rain-free.
You can never rule out a shower or storm at any point during the summer, I feel like, but Sunday’s looking pretty quiet as far as that goes.
And we’ll keep that vibe kind of going into Monday, a few more showers and storms are going to be possible Monday afternoon, and then as we get into the rest of next week we’re going to start to see those shower and thunderstorm chances head back up in the afternoons, but that’s a few days away.
Go enjoy your Sunday, folks.
