Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Tuesday, June 13th, 2023.

Well Tuesday is going to be another warm and somewhat muggy day across the Charleston area.

Start the day around 70 degrees, which is spitting distance than normal for this point in June, before warming to around 90 degrees in the afternoon under partly cloudy skies.

From there, expect another round of showers and thunderstorms to develop and move east across the area in the afternoon and evening hours, with a few of those storms possibly packing some damaging wind gusts and large hail.

Now one of the key details for Tuesday’s forecast will be where a stalled cold front ultimately sets up.

A wobble north could bring higher severe thunderstorm probabilities further north, and vice versa.

For now, expect the best chance to see any severe weather to run roughly from Ravenel southwestward, though keep in mind that a severe thunderstorm will be possible anywhere in the Tri-County area during the day on Tuesday.

So with that said, stay tuned for forecast updates throughout the day as things evolve.

We’ll keep you posted.

We stay unsettled heading into the second half of the workweek too.

Wednesday in particular looks quite busy as the front continues to hang around the area or even lift a little further north, with more upper level energy moving on by to stir up numerous showers and thunderstorms.

And once again, we could be dealing with a risk for some damaging wind gusts and heavy rain as well.

Coverage will decrease a little bit on Thursday and Friday as the upper low in the northeast moves further away, but we can still expect a decent scattering of showers and thunderstorms each afternoon.

We’ll be in the upper 80s Wednesday and Thursday before the 90s return for Friday, and beyond as we head towards Father’s Day on Sunday.

And that was Charleston Weather Daily for June 13th, 2023.
