Hello everyone, Jared Smith here with your Charleston weather forecast for Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st, 2023.

We made it! It’s the weekend, and you’ll be rewarded with a fairly nice and warm Saturday under partly cloudy skies.

We start the day in the low 60s and warm into the mid 80s with reasonable humidity.

Not as dry as we might like, but certainly not as swelter-fest either.

Get your outdoorsy stuff in on Saturday because another front will be arriving with some unsettled weather on Sunday.

We’ll start the day on the mild side in the upper 60s, and temperatures should still top out in the mid 80s before rain starts to mess with things.

Models still disagree a bit on the exact onset of showers and storms, but I’d expect at least some of us to be seeing some rain by mid-afternoon into the evening hours.

It won’t be a total washout, so just have a backup plan for any outdoor activities.

And don’t forget to check in periodically for forecast updates as more data comes in.

That should give us a better idea as to what to expect for Sunday’s rain.
