A potent storm system brings the risk for severe weather to the Lowcountry on Tuesday, with tidal flooding in the morning followed by strong and potentially damaging non-thunderstorm winds around midday into the afternoon before a squall line comes through with stronger winds and maybe a tornado or two through early evening.

Stay weather-alert throughout the day, and make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings, including one way that doesn’t require an Internet connection.
